A Typography Geek's Lookshelf

1) Who/Where are you?

Adam Spooner, New York City

2) What do you do for work?

I'm a front-end web developer and designer.

3) Something about my bookshelves:

I don't have enough bookshelf space, though I have three rather large bookshelves. I love to read and collect books. I enjoy reading about design, typography, technology, and scripture. I've also started reading fantasy. So, my bookshelves-and the surrounding floor space- are full of such topics.

4) Tell me something about one of the books on your shelves...

The Elements of Typographic Style is, by far, the most thorough and well-written book on typography that I own, and I own a few books on the subject. I've read it twice and continue to use it as a resource.
If you asked me to recommend just one book on typography, The Elements of Typographic Style by Robert Bringhurst would be that book.

5) What do you do for fun?

I read for fun. What else is there to do?
