A Santos & Robots & Bondage Lookshelf

1) Who are you and where are you?

Katelan Foisy, New York City

2) What do you do for work?

I am an illustrator, tarot reader, owner of Knickerbocker Circus Publishing , and model. Just call me an urban Gypsy.

3) What do you do for fun?

Drink wine in the back garden with good friends.

4) Tell me something about your bookshelves.

My bookshelves are loved. Every book has some sort of wear and tear, not because I don't respect the books but because I love them so much I often read and re-read them until the pages yellow and the covers start to crumble.

5) Tell me something about ONE of the books on your shelf.

I used to date the son of a good friend of William S. Burroughs (my literary idol). I never believed the stories he told me or that he was living in Burrough's old place until I opened up "With William Burroughs : A Report from the Bunker." and there was my friend's father's name and a description of how Bill gave him his apartment . That same book reminds me of the time we found the curse in old Bill's bookshelf. Oh Bill Burroughs, you were a tricky one.

I love Santeria. And robots. But, I'm not too crazy about bondage.
