A Mostly Maritime Lookshelf

1) Who and where are you?

Max, from Bursledon in Hampshire

2) What do you do for work (and fun?)

Information Technology

4)Tell me something about your shelves.

My wife calls me a "Boat-Arak (instead of an anorak), as I am interested in boats, sailing them, rowing them, desiging them, building them ...

5) Tell me something about ONE of the books on your shelves.

Storm Tactics by Lin and Larry Pardy is about surviving storms aboard a small yacht. My wife and I spent 48 hours "hove to" on a small yacht 1000 miles from land - it was uncomfortable, but everything the Pardy's said worked for us.

Also collection of Ellmore Leonard - how does he tell so much story with so few words?!
